Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to find out the description and factors of social media narcissistic behavior in adolescents in Palembang city. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. There were 3 subjects in this study amounted to 6 people. Methods of data collection is done by using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it canbe concluded that the factors of the three subjects in the tendency of social media narcissistic behavior in adolescents in the city of Palembang are the same having a feeling of loneliness and high self-confidence which couses the subject to share their daily life, share video, share feelings of sadness on their social media accounts such as whatsapp, instagram, and tiktok.
