Abstract
Discipline is very common among students at Islamic boarding schools in various scheduled programs, namely congregational worship, reciting the Koran, performing sunnah prayers such as Duha and Tahajud, cleaning rooms, and so on. One sign of the devotion and love of a servant to Allah SWT is the midnight prayer. In addition, the habit of a servant performing the midnight prayer is proof of his love for his creator. This study aims to find out how the habituation of the midnight prayer affects the disciplined character of students at Daarul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School. This study applies quantitative research with a correlation research type. Primary and secondary data became the source of data in this study, and in collecting the required data the researcher used data collection techniques in the form of observation, questionnaires/questions and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses product moment (person) correlation. Based on the research results, Sig. Worth 0.000, and Pearson Correlation 0.660. If the Sig value < 0.05, namely 0.000 < 0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, which means that there is an influence of the habituation of the midnight prayer on the disciplinary character of the students. If the Pearson Correlation value is consulted with the correlation criteria, it can be understood that there is a strong influence from the habituation of the midnight prayer on the disciplinary character of the students at Daarul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School.
