Abstract

One of the student academic service applications built by UIN Raden Fatah Palembang is RF Mobile. RF Mobile is an information system supporting sub-activities of the academic community that provides information services and data related to students. The presence of RF Mobile facilitates service activities so that time becomes more efficient. But there are complaints from users who feel there are constraints and deficiencies when using this application. Therefore, to find out the problems that exist in the application, usability testing is carried out. This research was conducted to determine the level of usability of the RF Mobile application of UIN Raden Fatah by users, especially students as respondents using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) method which consisted of 19 questions in the form of a questionnaire and distributed to 382 respondents. The results of this study obtained average value (SYSUSE) 3.40 (INFTOQUAL) 3.52 (INTQUAL) 3.82 (OVERALL) 3.51. Thus the results indicate that the RF MobileUIN Raden Fatah application can be accepted but still needs improvement to increase its usability, then some recommendations for improvement are given which are expected to be used as a reference for application developers in making usability improvements so that the RF Mobile UIN Raden Fatah application has a high level of high usability and can achieve user satisfaction.
