Abstract
Cultural influences from foreign countries certainly produce new cultural influences and habits ranging from positive to negative. A culture originating from Japan is a term for female and male fans who like manga, anime, as well as boys love or yaoi relationships. This study aims to determine the causal factors and understand the sexual satisfaction of early adult fujoshi. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects studied were three fujoshi in the city of Palembang who have recognized themselves as fujoshi in the last few years. The results of the study show that the reason someone becomes a fujoshi is curiosity and boredom towards the monotonous romance genre. While external factors include diverse media intake and a wide selection of stories that are easily accessible anywhere and anytime. So that fujoshi feel sexual satisfaction from seeing or watching yaoi/BL genre media. In reaching the peak of sexual satisfaction, fujoshi often touch themselves using either their hands or assistive devices in the form of sex toys. So that the sexual satisfaction that the subject gets through media yaoi gives more pleasant sensations that motivate repetition of sexual activity
