Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Upik Apriyanti Faculty/ Study Program : Psikologi/Psikologi Islam Tittle : The Relationship between Psychological Well-Being and Work Engagement in Inpatient Installation Nurses at Sekayu Regional General Hospital This studi aims to determine whether there is a relationship between Psychological Well-Being and Work Engagement among Inpatient Ward Nurses at Sekayu Regional General Hospital. The research method used is a correlational quantitative method, and data collection was conducted using a Likert scale. The population in this study consists of all Inpatient Ward Nurses at Sekayu Regional General Hospital, totaling 170 people, with a sample size of 114 people. The sampling method used in this study is sampling insidental with a non probability sampling technique. The research instruments used are the Psychological Well Being Scale and the Work Engagement Scale. The results of the data analysis using the Pearson's product-moment correlation technique show a relationship between which is significant Psychological Well Being and Work Engagement. The results were evidenced by the correlation coefficient r=0.639, coefiein value p=0.000, this shows that the higher the psychological well-being, the higher the work engagement in nurses and vice versa, the lower the work engagement in nurses, the lower the psychological well-being.
