Abstract
ABSTRACT Nama : Sarah Tri Arfika Fakultas/Program Studi : Psychology/Islamic Psychology Judul : The Relationship between Social Support and Quarter Life Crisis in Students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought UIN Raden Fatah Palembang This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in students. The research approach used is research with quantitative methods and data collection using scale. The total population in this study is 985 students and a sample of 258 students of the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling and the formula of issac and michael. The research instruments used are the Quarter Life Crisis Scale developed by Afandi, et al. (2023) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) by Kusuma (2022). The results of the hypothesis test showed a number of -0.178 with a significance level of 0.004 < 0.05, thus there was a significant relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in students. This means that the higher the social support, the lower the quarter life crisis in students, and vice versa where if the lower the social support, the higher the quarter life crisis in students. So that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. Keywords: Social Support, Quarter Life Crisis, Student
