Abstract
Nama : Titin Juriani Fakultas/Program Studi : Psikologi/Psikologi Islam Judul Skripsi : The Relationship Between Loneliness and Selfie-liking in Students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between loneliness and selfie-liking in students at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The population of the study were students in several faculties at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, namely the Faculty of Sharia and Law, the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, and the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, with a research sample of 205 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection used two scales, namely the loneliness scale and the selfie-liking scale, both of which were arranged using the Likert scale model. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson product moment technique using the SPSS version 25 for Windows program. The results of the analysis showed a correlation coefficient of r = 0.572 with a significant value of p = 0.000. The r value obtained showed that the two variables had a significant positive relationship. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the higher the level of loneliness, the higher the selfie-liking behavior. Conversely, if a person's level of loneliness is low, the selfie-liking behavior is also low. keywords: loneliness, selfie-liking,teacher treaning
