Abstract
Natural insecticides as active ingredients derived from plants are used as the controllers of disturbing organisms. A. squamosa as a natural insecticide is environmentally friendly. S. oryzae is a pest that is harmful and difficult to control when attacking. This study aims to determine the concentration of extract A. squamosa, find out the number of S. oryzae that died, and find out the effect of extract A. squamosa as a natural insecticide on the mortality of S. oryzae. This research entitled Effectivity Test Of A. squamosa As A Natural Insecticide Against Mortality S. oryzae and Contribution On The Material Plantae Class X SMA. This type research is experimental. Research design is RAL. The study consisted of 4 treatments, namely concentration 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. Based on the results of the study calculated based on % mortality, the highest mortality rate occurred at a concentration of 100% and the lowest mortality rate occurred at a concentration of 25%. Then, followed by Anova Test with SPSS 16.0 obtained the value FHitung > FTabel yaitu 77.158 > 2.67 and sig < 0.05, this indicates that HO rejected and Ha accepted. Then proceed with the Duncan Test the results obtained at concentrations of 75% and 100% have the same effect on the mortality rate of S. oryzae. So it can be concluded the effective concentration for S. oryzae is concentration 100%, the total mortality of S. oryzae is in concentration 100% is 43%, 75% is 40%, 50% is 32%, dan 25% is 26%, and extract A. squamosa affects the mortality of S. oryzae
