Abstract
Many researchers believe that learning strategies give much benefials for students’ achievement . In case, language learning strategies and academic achievement were correlated to find out the effect of independent variable to students' GPA. This research was conducted in UIN Fatah Patah Palembang in the academic year 2014-2016. The population of this research was 487 active EFL student. By using stratified sampling technique, there were 110 selected students who participated in this research. The data were gained by using SILL questionnaire and students' GPA. The first question of this research was answered, unfortunetly the second and the third question can be touched. At last, language learning strategies and academic achivement of undergraduate EFL students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang did have any correlation.
