Abstract
The purpose of this research is: 1) determine quality of multiple choice items in terms of material, construction and language. 2) determine distribution of cognitive domains according to bloom's taxonomy. 3) determine quality of multiple choice items if analyzed empirically. Type of this research is descriptive and data collection with documentation techniques. Item analysis is conducted in two ways, theoretically, covering content validity and distribution of bloom’s taxonomy cognitive domains involving two panelists as reviewers, and empirical analysis included reliability, levels of discrimination, difficulty levels and effectiveness of deceivers using the Iteman version 4.4 program. The results show that 1). The validity of contents is 0.9 as classified high. 2). The distribution of Bloom's cognitive taxonomic domain is 30% at C1, 38,6% C2, 31,4% C3, while C4, C5 and C6 are none. 3). The reliability of questions at 0.838 is classified as high Based on the difficulty level, it is obtained 82.8% of the questions are classified as too easy, 2.9% of the questions are classified as too difficult and 14.3% of the questions are classified as sufficient. Based on the level of discrimination, 25.71% of the questions are classified as bad, 40% of the questions are classified as sufficient, 25.71% of the questions are classified as good, 5.71% of the questions are classified as very good, 2,87% are classified as very poor. Based on the effectiveness of frauds, all questioners need to be improved because there is none of the fraud that functions. There are 53.6% of fraudsters that function effectively and 46.4% of frauds that are not effective.
