Abstract
In married life, of course, every married couple wants to get happiness in their family life. Every human being realized that happiness is an important thing in life, it is because happiness is considered the ultimate goal of life.The 1945’s law states that everyone has the right to be able to feel happiness in life, including visually impaired persons. In real life, showed that blind couples can still maintain their families quite well today. This becomes interesting, considering that in the effort to form a family, effort and hard work is needed, then how is the household happiness of a blind married couple in forming a family. Based on the above phenomena, the purpose of this study is to find out how the happiness of a blind married couple's household in forming a family. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, which the researcher tries to see a psychologically subjective picture of the subject under study.The subjects in this study were 3 blind husband and wife couples with a minimum marriage age of 5 years, already have children, who work as massagers and live in a blind village on Jalan Seduduk Putih. interview, observation and documentation methods. The results showed that the three subjects of husband and wife’s couples both have the goal of keeping maintaining and maintaining the happiness and harmony of their household despite all the shortcomings and limitations that each family experiences. In addition, the picture of the happiness of this married couple is shown by the good relationship that they have between partners, family, and neighbors in the neighborhood where they live.
