Abstract
KKN batch 73 is a KKN conducted by students of the State Islamic University Raden Fatah Palembang during the covid-19 virus pandemic which is very different from the KKN (real work lectures) that were carried out previously.There are three types of KKN batch 73, namely volunteer KKN, DR (from home) KKN and social work KKN. This research is a research with a quantitative approach. The population of the study were all students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Progam in 2017 who participated in KKN activities as many as 251 students with a sample of 71 samples with a precision value of 10% or a confidence level of 90%. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique uses percentage, mean (average) and interval scale to find out whether KKN activities have been effectively carried out by students of Islamic educations study program in 2017. The results showed that the activities carried out were effective. It can be seen from 38 statements, the most dominant answer is ini the good/effective category, for quite good/fairly effective answers there are 2 statements and very good/very effective answers have 4 statements. The final mean (average) obtained from 38 statement items is 3,97 which is on a scale of 3,43-4,23 which is included in the good/effective category. Meanwhile, the obstacles faced are limited activities, lack of experience, lack of community resources, lack of facilities and infrastructure, difficulty finding signals, difficulty fiding sources or reference, misunderstandings/differences of opinion between individuals or groups of community service program, long distance to groupss or command posts village, face-to-face mettings are not allowed, there are students wh have a little difficulty educating the public about health protocols and not maximizing time.
