Abstract

This thesis discusses the relationship between gratitude and happiness for mothers who have children with special needs at the Yayasan Bina Autis Mandiri Palembang. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between gratitude and happiness in mothers who have childern with special needs at the Yayasan Bina Autis Mandiri Palembang, using quantitative research methods. The population in this study was 180 people using the issac michael table with an error rate of 10% and the sample used in this study was 108 people. The data analysis. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between gratitude and happiness. This is evidenced by the value of the correlation coeficient which shows the number 0.6779 with a sig value. 0.000 p<0.05, meaning that the higher the gratitude, the higher the happiness, and vice versa, the lower the gratitude, the lower the happiness.
