Abstract
Tofu waste is generally of immediately without undergoing processing. Making fertilizer is an alternative in the application of environtmentally friendly organic farming technology. Tofu waste can be used as fertilizer for plants, because it contains nitrogen (N), phosporus (P) and pottasium (K) which can be used for plants. Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) used fruit vegetable which is consumed by Indonesians, because the nutrion value of cucumber is good as a mineral and vitamins. The study aims to determine whether the provision of tofu waste fertilizer the effect of the growth respons of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) and knowing the optimum good concentration tofu waste fertilizer 150 gr, 200 gr, 250 gr, 300 gr dan 350 gr growth responses to cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). This research is an experimental study with a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 applications. The nutrients of tofu waste fertilizer is known to be tested at PT Bina Sawit Makmur (Sampoerna Agro) N 2,10%, P 0,238% and K 0.39%, on tofu waste gave results that did not significantly effect, each result parameter. The concentration of tofu waste in the treatment was significantly different fromthe control and did not give a the growth of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.). It is necessary to further investigate the content at each concentration of fertilizer used and then it should be look at the requirement for plant growth.
