Abstract
his thesis discusses the "Concept of Character Education in the Thought of Mohammad Natsir". In this case, the role models for children are teachers and parents If the behavior of parents or teachers is different or contrary to their advice, surely the teaching and learning activities or in the context of educating the child will fail. This study uses library research methods (Library Research). The nature of this research is descriptive-analytic. This research approach uses a philosophical and pedagogical approach. Data collection techniques through the method of documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is content analysis. The results of the research in this study is to instill exemplary, discipline and habituation. Muhammad Natsir also explained how important it is to set a good example in educating children. exemplary in question is applying monotheism in family life, namely running a good relationship with Allah SWT by always carrying out Allah's commands and staying away from all prohibitions or commonly called piety.
