Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of murabahah financing and musyarakah financing on profitability (ROA) and non performing financing (NPF) as intervening variables in Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. This research is a quantitative research. This study uses return on assets (ROA) as an indicator of bank profitability. The population of this study is Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) registered with the Financial Services Authority in the period 2016 – 2020. The sample selection in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a total of 7 Sharia Commercial Banks in Indonesia. The method used is panel data regression using the Chou test and Hausman test. The results of this study indicate that partially the murabahah financing variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA, the musyarakah financing variable has no effect on ROA, the murabahah financing variable has no effect on the NPF, the musyarakah financing variable has no effect on the NPF, the NPF variable has a negative and significant effect on ROA, murabahah financing variable has a positive and significant effect on ROA through NPF, musyarakah financing variable through NPF has no effect on ROA. while simultaneously the variables of murabahah financing and musyarakah financing jointly have a positive effect on ROA, as well as the variables of murabahah financing, musyarakah financing and NPF jointly have a positive effect on ROA. Keywords: murabahah, musyarakah, non-performing financing, profitability. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pembiayaanmurabahah dan pembiayaan musyarakah terhadap profitabilitas (ROA) dan non performing financing (NPF) sebagai variabel intervening pada Bank Umum Syariah yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan return on asset (ROA) sebagai indikator profitabilitas bank. Populasi penelitian ini adalah Bank Umum Syariah (BUS) yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan pada periode 2016 – 2020. Pemilihan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan total 7 Bank Umum Syariah di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah Regresi data panel dengan menggunakan Uji Chou dan Uji Hausman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel pembiayaan murabahah berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ROA, variabel pembiayaan musyarakah tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA, variabel pembiayaan murabahah tidak berpengaruh terhadap NPF, variabel pembiayaan musyarakah tidak berpengaruh terhadap NPF, variabel NPF berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap ROA, variabel pembiayaan murabahah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ROA melalui NPF, variabel pembiayaan musyarakah melalui NPF tidak berpengaruh terhadap ROA. sementara secara simultan variabel pembiayaan murabahah dan pembiayaan musyarakah secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA, begitu juga dengan variabel pembiayaan murabahah, pembiayaan musyarakah dan NPF secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap ROA. Kata kunci: murabahah, musyarakah, non performing financing, profitabilitas.
