Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this research was to find out the students' perceptions at MIN 1 Palembang on the use of E-Learning in reading activities. This study used a qualitative research. This study was conducted at MIN 1 Palembang with six students as the participants taken by using one of the purposeful sampling, maximum variation sampling method. The researcher used open-ended questions in an interview to obtain data, which were then analyzed by using thematic analysis technique. The findings of this study shows that there were four perceptions on the use of E-Learning in reading activities, as follows: (a) Convenient and flexible way of learning, (b) Lower cost spent, and c) Lack of comprehension due to unclear teacher’s explanation.
