Abstract

This research aims to explore the efforts that have been done by the study program as the smallest organizational unit in the college but has no small influence as a supporting system for the realization of online learning that fosters independence and fun for students. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology. Informants are determined by purposive sampling technique is determining informants with certain criteria or considerations with snowball techniques. (Snowballing). Data collection techniques are carried out by participant observation, in-depth interviews and document tracing. Data analysis techniques are carried out in three stages, namely reduction, display and verification. Based on the data obtained it can be stated that the efforts made by the Fitk UIN Raden Fatah Palembang Arabic Language Education program related to online learning are that this study program has two online learning systems that have been lent before the covid 19 pandemic, namely (1) learning with an e-learning application system designed by the University team. and (2) learning with online arabic application fruit program cooperation with IMLA and The Electronic University of Saudi Arabia. Both applications are rolled out by starting the process of socialization, promotion and obliging then monitored with the monev program periodically. The obstacles faced in online learning are, signal strength, lecturer's ability and mhasiswa are limited in operationalizing the computer, learning culture that has not been awakened, students seem relaxed and not serious in learning and specifically for online arabic programs the difficulty of students understand Arabic if the teaching is a native speaker. This is due to their limited ability and not being accustomed to hearing Arabic directly from native speakers. As a recommendation, this online learning can be continued with adapting and innovation in some places even though the pandemic has ended. It can be designed by combining blended and hybrid learning systems
