Abstract
ABSTRACK This research is motivated by technological advances in today's era that can affect every individual. The development of the world of technology today requires the internet as a means of communication, data exchange, and information seeking media which is in great demand by every group, especially the millennial generation. The impact is a significant change. So the internet has become a daily necessity. The development of student entrepreneurial creativity through the use of social media is expected to provide a new breakthrough to change the mindset of students of the Islamic Economics Study Program at Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang to become young entrepreneurs. This type of research is a (Field Research), with primary and secondary data sources. While the data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive qualitative. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the role of using social media among students is very busy, therefore as the younger generation of the nation's successors are able to create jobs after graduating from college and reduce the unemployment rate which increases every year.
