Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research revealing what is the role of ustadz and ustadzah in instilling religious moderation in students at the Nurul Iman Islamic boarding school and what are the factors that support and hinder ustadz and ustadzah in instilling religious moderation in students at the Nurul Iman Islamic boarding school. The type of research used in this research is field research. Those who go directly to the field to get answers to the research problems are also qualitative. Primary data is collected by researchers directly from the source data. In order to obtain primary data, researchers collect it directly from information (the role of ulstadz and ulstadzah in instilling religious modeling of students at the Nulrull Iman Islamic boarding school). The techniques used by researchers to collect primary data are observation and interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data sources are sources that do not directly provide data, for example obtained from other people or documents. In this case, usually, data sources from other people are supported in this research, such as journals, journals, and several sources resulting from research. The results of this study are First, the position of the ustadz and ustadzah has been carried out well, which we can see from the recognition of the students which can be seen from the way the ustadz and ustadzah guarantee the quality and quality of the students as well as educating, fostering, guiding and directing them. Second, the inculcation of religious moderation will not go smoothly, because there will be opportunities and challenges to be overcome. As for the opportunities in cultivating an attitude of religious moderation, namely ustadz and ustadzah who support it so that it influences instilling religious moderation in students. The challenge faced is that sometimes there are many generations who do not directly accept the understanding of what we convey. So we have to be patient in dealing with the attitude of a generation that is still unstable, stubborn and selfish . Keywords: The Role of Ustadz and Ustadzah, Instilling Religious Moderation
