Abstract

ABSTRACK Media plays an important role in the learning process where it can attract students' attention and eliminate boredom. The most common media used in schools is books. However, currently there is a lack of interest among students in reading books if the book is thick and looks less interesting. Therefore, there is a need for innovation to make books something interesting, one of the innovations in books is like booklets. Booklets are printed media in the form of books equipped with writing and images whose role is to convey whatever information the author wants to convey. The aim of the research is to find out the results of the booklet learning media validation regarding the identification of insect pests on rice plants and to find out the types of insect pests on rice plants and to find out the morphological characteristics of insect pests on rice plants. The type of research used is R&D with a 4D model, while insect pest identification research is qualitative descriptive research with a diagonal method using Sweep net traps, Yellow Pan Trap and Light Trap. From the results of media booklet validation by media experts, the material and language had an average score of 95%. So these results show that the media created is suitable for use as a medium in the learning process and the results of research on insect pest identification show that, in total, 3 orders, 5 families, 8 species and 166 individuals were found. In the Ciliwung variety there are 3 orders, 4 families, 5 species and 62 individuals. In the Ciherang variety there are 3 orders, 5 families, 7 species, 55 individuals and in Inpari 42 there are 3 orders, 4 families, 7 species and 49 individuals. Keywords: Booklet, Identification, Insecta Pests and Vegetative Phase ABSTRAK Media berperan penting dalam proses pembelajaran dimana dapat menarik perhatian dan menghilangkan kebosana peserta didik. Media yang paling umum diterapkan di sekolah ialah buku.namun pada saat ini kurangnya minat peserta didik untuk membaca buku apabila buku tersebut tebal dan terlihat kurang menarik. Maka dri itu perlu adanya inovasi untuk menjadikan buku sebagai sesuatu yang menarik, salah satu inovasi dari buku yaitu seperti booklet. Booklet adalah media cetak berupa buku yang dilengkapai dengan tulisan maupun gambar yang berperan untuk menyampaikan informasi apa saja yang hendak disampaikan oleh penulis. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil validasi media pembelajaran booklet mengenai identifikasi insecta hama pada tanaman padi dan untuk mengetahui jenis Insecta hama pada tanaman padi serta untuk mengetahui bagaimana karakteristik morfologi Insecta hama tanaman padi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R&D dengan model 4D sedangkan penelitian identifikasi insecta hama yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode diagonal dengan menggunakan perangkap Sweep net, Yellow Pan Trap dan Ligh Trap. Dari hasil validasi media booklet oleh ahli media, materi dan bahasa memiliki rata- rata nilai sebesar 95 %. Sehingga hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media yang dibuat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran dan hasil penelitian identifikasi insecta hama menunjukkan bahwa, secara keseluruhan ditemukan 3 ordo, 5 famili, 8 spesies dan 166 individu. Pada varietas Ciliwung terdapat 3 ordo, 4 famili, 5 spesies dan 62 individu. Pada varietas Ciherang terdapat 3 ordo, 5 famili, 7 spesies, 55 individu dan pada Inpari 42 terdapat 3 ordo, 4 famili, 7 spesies dan 49 individu.
