Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang Usia Paro Hidup dan Keusangan Literatur Pada Jurnal I-Finance Terbitan Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam Universitas Islam Negeri Raden Fatah Palembang. Paro hidup digunakan sebagai tolak ukur dengan mengacu pada waktu yaitu setengah dari literatur saat diterbitkan, sedangkan keusangan literatur disebut sebagai gambaran dari proses penurunan penggunaan publikasi literatur dari waktu ke waktu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis paro hidup dan keusangan literatur yang diterbitkan oleh jurnal I-Finance sehingga dapat mengungkapkan faktor-faktor penyebab keusangan pada artikel. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan seluruh literatur yang berjumlah 65 artikel dijadikan sebagai unit analisis data. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata usia paro hidup jurnal I-Finance tahun 2018- 2022 adalah 6,1 tahun dengan total sitiran usang sebanyak 546 atau sebesar 33,2% dengan tahun sitiran terlama yaitu tahun 1938 pada volume 5 nomor 2 tahun 2019. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa Jurnal I-Finance mempunyai artikel yang sudah sesuai dengan derajat kemutakhiran yaitu tidak lebih dari 10 tahun sesuai dengan syarat yang dikeluarkan oleh DIKTI dan dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan rujukan yang valid/relevan karena sitirannya sebagian adalah sitiran yang sudah mengikuti perkembangan zaman dan mutakhir untuk digunakan. Kata Kunci: Jurnal I-Finance, Usia Paro Hidup, dan Keusangan Literatur This research discusses half-life and obsolescence of literature in the I-Finance Journal published by the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. Half-life is used as a benchmark with reference to time, namely half of the literature when published, while literature obsolescence is referred to as a description of the process of decreasing use of literature publications over time. The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the half-life and obsolescence of literature published by the I-Finance journal so that it can reveal the factors that cause obsolescence in the articles. This research applies quantitative descriptive methods and all literature totaling 65 articles is used as the data analysis unit. The findings show that the average half-life of the I-Finance journal in 2018- 2022 is 6,1 years with a total a total of 546 old citations or 33.2% of the year of citation. the oldest is 1938 in volume 5 number 2 in 2019. This shows that the I-Finance Journal has articles that are in accordance with the degree of recency, namely no more than 10 years old in accordance with the requirements issued by DIKTI and can be used as as valid/relevant reference material because some of the citations are citations that have kept up with the times and are up to date for use.
