Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing whether or not there is a relationship between job insecurity variables and turnover intention in employees at PT Bintang Sriwijaya. This research uses quantitative methods by using a correlational quantitative approach. The data analysis technique used is using parametric analysis, namely Pearson's Product Moment using the help of software, namely IBM SPSS version 26.0 for Windows. Sampling this study using random sampling technique with the determination of the number of samples based on the formula issac michel, namely 129 employees from the total population of 245 employees. The measuring instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. Based on the results of hypothesis testing that has been carried out, the results show that there is a relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention, this can be proven by the significance value obtained is 0.000 where p0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.463 which states that the correlation coefficient is moderate with the value shown is positive. This means that the higher the job insecurity experienced by a person, the higher the turnover intention will be felt. Vice versa, the lower the job insecurity experienced by someone, the lower the perceived turnover intention.
