Abstract

The research is entitled “communication strategy of baznas leaders towards z-mart program companions (study of baznas south sumatra province), The problem raised was the communication strategy of the Baznas leadership towards companions in the Z-mart program. This research aims to find out the communication strategies used by Baznas leadership towards companions in the Z-mart program. This research uses a type of naturalistic inquiry research, or field study, while the data collection technique during the research process uses observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that the leadership of Baznas South Sumatra Province implements organizational communication strategies, namely vertical, horizontal and diagonal forms of communication. The leader is active in his role, namely training program assistants through training and direct assistance to companions in the Z-mart program. Organizational communication carried out by the leadership of Baznas South Sumatra Province and the companions of the Z-mart program is a form of vertical, diagonal and horizontal communication with the form of internal communication. By having vertical communication from top to bottom and bottom to top, a clear understanding can be created between the leadership of Baznas South Sumatra Province and the program assistants. Horizontal communication carried out by the leadership with fellow Baznas leaders of South Sumatra Province discussed work related to the program. Efforts are made by using electronic media for communication, making time for communication, often gathering together and doing work alone if colleagues do not respond immediately. Because basically diagonal communication aims to strengthen coordination, of course the choice of messages in organizational communication must be truly good and not offend other areas. This diagonal communication is the most effective form of communication carried out by the leadership because with this form of communication, the leadership is able to communicate widely with various divisional areas or other heads of division related to other divisions.
