Abstract
The research is titled "Analysis of Group Communication Among Buffalo Herders," aimed at understanding the communication process and the supporting as well as inhibiting factors of group communication among buffalo herders in Babat Village, Babat Toman District. The research method employed is qualitative research. A qualitative approach with field research type, conducted directly in the field. Data collection involves interview techniques and direct observation. In this study, there will be 8 respondents for interviews, including the head of the buffalo herders' group, 4 members of the buffalo herders' group, the village head of Babat, and 2 residents of Babat Village related to the research location. The results indicate that the implementation of communication among buffalo herders in Babat Village is quite good, including communication between the head and members of the buffalo herders' group, instructions from the head to the members, communication between the village and the buffalo herders' group, and communication between the community and the buffalo herders' group. Supporting factors of communication include the use of local language that is easily understood among the community, while inhibiting factors include the use of communication language that is difficult to understand.
