Abstract
This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between dual role conflict and work stress in female teachers in Tempirai Village. The research approach used is a quantitative correlational method and data collection using a scale. The population in this study was 123 members and a sample of 123 female teachers in Tempirai Village. The sample determination technique used total sampling. This study uses two scales, namely the Dual Role Conflict Scale and the Work Stress Scale. The results of data analysis using the Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis technique assisted by the SPSS (statistical product and service solution) version 26 application showed a significant positive relationship between dual role conflict and work stress. This is evidenced by the results of r = 0,563 with a significant value of 0,000. The results of this study can be a basic foundation for providing interventions for female teachers who experience dual role conflict and work stress. The results of this study indicate that the higher the dual role conflict experienced by female teachers, the faster they will experience work stress. Vice versa, the higher a person's stress level, the higher the role conflict that will occur. Therefore, collaboration between schools, families, and communities is essential to create a balance of roles for female teachers, so that they can achieve optimal psychological well-being and work productivity.
