Abstract

The role of Soil Insects is very important in the ecosystem, which is one indicator of the balance of the ecosystem and as a decoder of organic matter. This research was conducted February – 2019 in the duku garden (Lansium domesticum Corr.) Kisau Village, Muaradua District, South OKU Regency using pifall trap, yellow trap and glue trap. The soil insects that have been found from the results of the three insect traps are 15 obsessions consisting of 5 orders and 10 families with a temperature measurement of 30o C, pH slightly acid 6.8 and high humidity which is 76%. The calculation results showed that FR and KR of the three traps were dominated by the order Hymenoptera, which averaged 20%, while the lowest FR and KR were seen in the groups of roaches, flies and beetles, which averaged 2%. Calculation of the Shannon-Weiner (H ') index value, soil insects found through the three tools are classified into the medium diversity category, because the calculation value (H')> 1 and <3. The evenness index (E) value of the three traps is classified as an even distribution category, because the calculation of value (E) is close to number 1. Whereas from the calculation of Simpson dominance index (C), the C value of the three traps<0.50 , which indicates that the value of the dominance index is low with the similarity index (IS) which is being calculated of 56%.
