Abstract
Reformatin movement in the Islamic world has always begun with reforms in the realm ofthought and scientific development. Over the last few years, science and its aplication among Muslims society has been progressing very impressively. This is due to an awareness of improvement and in the Ismization of knowledge efforts. Ismization of knowledge is a part of a thought reform which is believed by some scholars as an idea to re-position Islam as a religion that syamil mutakamil. In this paper we try to explore the role and relevance both as an alternative improvement process for the ummah (Muslim society)
