Abstract
ABSTRACT Name : Aulia Rahmawati Study Program/Faculty : Islamic Psychology/Psychology Title :Beautiful Meaning According to Islamic Psychology student UIN Raden Fatah Palembang The number of perceptions that base the beauty on the outward aspect must be deconstructed immediately,because if not perceptions like this will lead to discrimination in society. It's not fair when beauty is only measured from the outer aspect, because physically, between humans one another is different. Therefore, the meaning of beauty must now be directed at one's spiritual aspect (inner beauty). The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Methods of collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The subjects in this study amounted to three people from different backgrounds who were selected using purposive sampling with the conditions determined by the researcher. The results showed that the three subjects had the same view in interpreting beauty, that is, someone who is beautiful is not only physical, but also has inner beauty in her. Then the criteria for beautiful quality in oneself, manners, confidence, good attitude, clean and neat appearance. Keywords: Beautiful Meanings and Beautiful Criteria
