Abstract
This study aims to produce PISA type math problems using the context of Islamic architecture in junior high schools that was valid and practical. This study uses research and development research methods with research subjects namely class IX students totaling 32 people at SMPN 01 Payaraman. Data collection techniques with Walkthrough, interviews and tests. This study resulted in: (1) PISA type math problems using the context of Islamic architecture in junior high schools that were valid by looking at the comments and suggestions from the validator at the selfevaluation and expert review stages. (2) PISA type math problems use the practical context of Islamic architecture in junior high schools, the practicality of the questions can be seen from interviews at the one-to-one, small group, and field test stages.
