Abstract
This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 35 Palembang. This study aims to determine the development of learning media materials for additives and addictive substances based on Ispring Suite 8 class VIII SMP/MTS that are valid and practical. This study uses the Research and Development method. This study uses the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The data collection instrument in this study was in the form of a questionnaire. The product that has been developed is then validated by validators consisting of material experts, linguists and media experts. The results of validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 80% in the "very valid" category, media experts obtained a percentage of 90% in the "very valid" category and linguists obtained a percentage of 95%. The teacher's assessment results obtained a percentage of 82.5% with the "very valid" category. The results of one to one practicality obtained a percentage of 85.5% in the "very practical" category and in the small group the percentage results were 87.62% in the "very practical" category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Ispring Suite 8-Based Learning Media on Additives and Addictive Substances for Class VIII SMP/MTs is appropriate for use in classroom learning activities or as teaching materials/independent learning guidelines for students. The shortcomings of this product can be corrected in the relevant further development research.
