Abstract
This study aims to determine the Influence between student perceptions On Student Discipline And Implementation Of punishment with Student Discipline Of Class IX SMAN 3 Palembang. The research method in this study used quantitative methods. The research subjects used in this study were 131 grade XI students. Researchers used purposive sampling technique in determining the sample in this study. While the data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS software version 22 for windows. Data collection was carried out using three scales, namely the student perception scale of student discipline which was further modified by the researcher from Ningsih's (2015) research, the punishment scale that the researcher made himself based on the aspects of punishment from Rosid et al., (2019), and the student discipline scale which was further modified by the researcher from Nuwayyar's (2022) research. The results showed that the major hypothesis was accepted with an F value of 36,232 and sig.<0.05, which means that there is a simultaneous influence between student perceptions and the application of punishment with student discipline. In the results of the minor hypothesis H1 is also accepted with a sig value. 0.000 (p<0.05) means there is a significant influence between students' perception and discipline of class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. In the test results of the minor hypothesis H2 is also accepted with a sig value. 0.000 (p<0.05) means that there is a significant influence between punishment and student discipline in class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Palembang.
