Abstract

This research is entitled "The relationship between mindfulness and self-efficacy in students of SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat Musi Banyuasin". This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between mindfulness and self-efficacy in students. The research approach used is a quantitative research method. Data collection uses a psychological scale. The total population in the study was 354 students and the sample taken was 185 students of SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat. This research instrument uses the five-facet mindfulness questionnare scale from Baer which has been adapted to the Indonesian version by Meindy et al., (2022) and the Solikhin (2020) measuring instrument development scale refers to the Ormrod & Santrock theory. The results of the correlation of person produck moment showed a correlation number of 0.210 with a significance of 0.004 (p < 0.05) showing a positive relationship between mindfulness and self-efficacy of students of SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat Musi Banyuasin.
