Abstract
Science process skills are the ability of students to apply scientific methods to understand, develop science and discover knowledge. Science process skills help students to learn science concepts, improve memory and provide opportunities for students to make discoveries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of virtual laboratory learning media on the science process skills of class XII students on the subject of metabolism. The type of research is PreExperimental Design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 2 Babat Supat with a sample of 23 students of class XII MIPA. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling, namely the total population. Data collection techniques using pretest and posttest instruments. Data analysis used One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Based on the results of this study, the average pretest was 50.22, the posttest was 86.96 and the N-gain was 0.74 in the high category. From the results of hypothesis testing, it was obtained that the posttest value was 0.00 with significant data < of = 0.05. So there is a significant effect of virtual laboratory learning media on the science process skills of students with Ha accepted. Keywords: Science Process Skills, Metabolism, Virtual Laboratory
