Abstract
The background of this research is related to the description of the Baitul Maal Wat Tamwil (BMT) Insan Mulia business model when viewed from the nine blocks of the BMC business model canvas. As well as knowing what are the inhibiting factors of BMT Insan Mulia in applying the business model canvas. applied to BMT Insan Mulia and to determine the inhibiting factors of BMT Insan Mulia in its application to the business model canvas. In formulating a strategy, researchers must use a business model canvas which consists of nine blocks, namely, customer relationships, key partners, value propositions, customer segments, channels, revenue streams, key resources, key activities and cost structure. This study uses qualitative methods with analysis using the business model canvas. Data collection techniques using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that BMT Insan Mulia has basically implemented a business model canvas. However, there are several inhibiting factors in this application.
