Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an of the students at Tahfidz At-Tien Muaradua House. The research subjects were 70 students who memorized the Al-Qur'an at Tahfidz At-Tien Muaradua House. This research uses a correlational quantitative method with Pearson Product Moment analysis. Data collection uses an emotional intelligence scale and the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an. The results of the research show that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an of the students at Tahfidz At-Tien Muaradua House with a coefficient value of r= 0.631 with a significance level of 0.000 where p = < 0.05. The results of the research can be concluded that the higher the emotional intelligence of the students, the higher their ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an, and vice versa, the lower the emotional intelligence of the students, the lower their ability to memorize the Al-Qur'an.
