Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship between Depression Levels and Suicide Ideation. This study uses correlational quantitative methods and data collection techniques using scales. The population in this study were Post-Breakup Adolescents, while the sample amounted to 172 people. The sampling technique used in this study was accidental sampling. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a relationship between depression levels and suicide ideation in post-breakup adolescents. The measuring instrument used in this study uses two scales, namely, the depression level scale according to (Beck et al., 1996) and the suicide ideation scale according to (Luxton et al., 2011). The data obtained in this study were analyzed using Chi-Square analysis technique used to see the relationship between variables with the help of SPSS version 26.0 for windows. Based on the results of research that has been carried out, it is known that the variable depression has a significant relationship with suicidal ideation, teenagers who experience a breakup tend to experience depression and then have suicidal ideas, this is proven by the results of the correlation coefficient which shows an Asymp.sig figure of 0.000 where p<0.05.
