Abstract

ABSTRACT Name : Dwi Apriyani Putri Study Program/Faculty : Islamic Psychology/ Psychology Title :Fenome Phubbing dikalangan Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa Khusus Hockey UIN Raden Fatah Palembang This thesis discusses the Phubbing Phenomenon among the Special Hockey Student Activity Unit at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive design. The aim is to find out what the Phubbing Phenomenon is like among the Hockey Special Student Activity Unit at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Data collection methods in this research used semi-structured interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data used is by triangulation. The results showed that the three subjects had passive interactions when interacting directly or communicating, this made the subjects tend to be passive in interacting and preferred to play on cellphones. The description of the Phubbing Phenomenon is smartphone addiction, this subject when he is too focused and comfortable with his smartphone, for this subject the smartphone is everything and when invited to interact the subject becomes passive when communicating.
